Vallisneria Posted November 17, 2006 Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 For a 33g I'd recommend staying with the more "peaceful" mbuna. A small group of yellow labs, rusties, or saulosi would be ok. A 33g is still pretty small for malawis. You could also go with a shell dweller tank or some other tangs, which do well in small tanks but tangs are a bit harder then malawis. Saulosi will give you 2 colors as the males are blue with black stripes and the females are orange.So if you want different coloers they would be a good choice. If you do go with Mbuna you will have to watch for aggression as the dominant male may rip into anything and everything...
