Terrie Lee
I set up my new (to me) 29g aquarium tonight. It is currently holding: 5 swordtails (2 males 3 females) 5 platies (hopefully all pregnant) 3 bronze corys 1 mato grosso pleco 2 spotted snails 1 baby swordtail fry I transfered the old filter from my 20g and it is running merrily in the corner. Hopefully it is currently infecting my new filter with plenty of bacteria. Everyone seems to be acting normally. The heater has been functioning normally. Everyone please join me in hoping that this will be a super and successful venture.
Guppygirl
Good Luck with the new tank. It must look impressive. The biggest I can go is 10-20 gallon due to space. Your fish will love the extra room. Just watch out, your swords and platies will produce and produce. Just the way we like it. -roll- . Terrie Lee
All I have in it for plants is some java moss. I will be putting some java fern in it, but nothing beyond that. The 55g I have planned will have some plants in it. Not sure just yet which ones.

Terrie Lee
If it were up to me I'd have more. Husband has capped me at: 5 gallon acrylic containing 1 betta 29g listed above and 55g with big plans to come. I'm just lucky he didn't kill me since I unplugged the TV during the last minute of a tied hockey game so I could steal the power bar for my fish tank. He kept looking at me like I'd murdered his pet bunny and saying "Why would you DO that?"!! WHY would you DO that? Why would you DO THAT? Why would YOU do THAT?
BigA
Good luck. Hope it works out!!!

Vapor
I unplugged the TV during the last minute of a tied hockey game If you got away with that and are still here to tell us about it I would think you could get away with another tank or two.
