DanGofCalgary
Anyone here a good glass cutter? I am probably the worst. Trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I have a good quality glass cutter, and glass cutting pliers, but I keep getting a little about in the center that runs off and makes a bad cut. I flip it and crack it from the other side and end up with a little piece in the middle. any thoughts, suggestions?

SourceAquatics
there is some kind of petroleum product we use. we dip in the product with a paint brush and wipe the area we are cutting into. I'll check and find out the product tomorrow.

fleshgear
i have also found that when i am more aggressive with the breaking part it went a lot better. and i use the broom stick as well. or some sort of wood that is narrow. i dont use lubricant. i just wear gloves when i do the breaking part. i also put the broom on the edge of a sturdy bench or table. then i also put something reasonalby heavy on the glass that is on the table. the weight is to prevent the glass from jumping up. the first few times i was trying to break glass i was a little shy on the breaking part, now i just go for it, and it works great
