SuperGuppyGirl
Thank you, thought it might be but the orangey reddish bits were making me have doubts, so just a low grade like an S? I'm assuming as this type of grading is a bit confusing. Edited January 9, 2013 by SuperGuppyGirl
ckmullin
saw the label but no shrimp something like $20 at a petland in calgary
jvision
The grading goes something like C, B, A, S, SS... And from what I can tell, the higher the grade, the more white. Yours looks like A grade to me, but I am far from a shrimp expert.
Ron
Here is a link to a grading guide: http://www.planetinverts.com/crystal%20red%20shrimp%20grading%20guide.html I would agree that it is an A grade but better photos from the side would be needed to be certain. CRS and CBS have come down in price lately, you can get SSS grade CBS for $10 - $15 each and CRS for a little less.
SuperGuppyGirl
Thank you, that link was actually really easy to understand, especially with the dominant recessive charts.
