Tracyp Posted May 9, 2014 Report Share Posted May 9, 2014 I used vinegar on a tank I recently bought it seemed to work quite well. You may want to let it soak for a few minutes it'll help loosen it up. I used a scrubby sponge and most of it came right off, some people have used a razor blade to scrape major build up on the glass just be careful to not scratch the glass.
