I would keep your hang ons in my opinion. Canisters have great biofiltration, however with messy neos the hang ons are easier to maintain and clean.

true, on my festae tank I have a 404 and 2 ac 500's it works out great, every week I clean an aquaclear (rotating them of course) maintenence with the aquaclears is easy and I dont have to be too worried about the bacteria because I just leave it sit and check on it about every month.

im a big fan of over filtering tanks using canister filters as well as a couple hang-ons for polish-up

I midas in a 75g & a Eheim 2217. :beer:

Buy theway i just took my 10" male barred Midas to Natures corner.

If you want him he's is in the pond.

I was in there about a week ago, at first glance I thought it was a convict in the pond. Even at 10" he was dwarfed by a couple of the kois. Nice fish

Henry had to move it to the small pond b/c it was kickin the :cuss: out of the koi. -roll-
