Froggie
Since Molino posted a few of his summer shots, I thought I'd follow with a few of the touristy snapshots I took while I was in the mountains with Ellie a few weeks back. Nothing too great but it really was a vacation and I didn't drag along a tripod.

punman
Yeah, great. You gotta love Peyto lake on a clear day. What are some good free hosting sites to use to post images on forums that don't squish everything into 100 x 150 pixels? ace99
Nice job, Froggie! Did you use neutral density grads to get the proper exposure for the sky or was that corrected in photoshop? Froggie
Did you use neutral density grads to get the proper exposure for the sky or was that corrected in photoshop? Neither actually. I don't even own any filters it was just my best case metering. If I had a tripod I'd probably have taken multiple shots so I could do a combination for full dynamic range. I've been thinking about going back and reprocessing some of the raws at different adjusted exposures for a similiar effect but haven't bothered. Mighty Prawn
Can't do much in photoshop with blown exposures on those mountains, however. -Hideo
