Ouch, thats a bit worse. After I was done freaking out yesterday, I went back and took a closer look at the chip and it only goes about half way thought the glass. Is it still safe to use? It's a 25G "I" would toss it for the time and hassle replacing a pane prolly cost the same amount for a new tank at Petsmart just don't buy a kit I picked up a 29G last winter for $40 just for the tank.

My mom and dad used to live in la-crosse then moved to Dorintosh....long before I was born

Looks good but you really need some backgrounds.....black garbage bags does wonders on fish colors
-
Good choice it's a heater toss it, not worth risking with some nice fish....unless there are feeder comets or danios then it's cheaper to keeping buying new fish then it is to feed them -roll-

If you did boil the rock do what boss hog said and just re-seed it with new stuff it fine if that grape caulerpa was still alive and bristle worms were present the rock was prolly fine just needed some new water when moving rock you usually get some die off, I am presently added 100 pounds to one of my systems a couple rocks every couple days not the spike the system. -
For acrylic you use Weld-on 40? ( Methylene Chloride) not sure on lexan though...acrylic might be cheaper to use depending how big it would be

If the hydor is to expensive then the Seio or Tunze is out of your price range too Hydor http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/store_p...uct_ID=hy-kor03 Seio http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/store_p..._ID=wp-rseo0820 Tunze http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/store_p...t_ID=tz-tsn6045 I have a AC 802? that I sometimes use for for water polishing works fairly good but it does sound like a bucket of bolts rattling around. I have used the maxi-jet 1200's when in a bind but you need the big one to get any flow and it's humming/vibrating against the glass drove me nuts, so now it just mixes salt

I only use seio's I like to move a lot of water  I recently picked up a hydor koralia and I am very impressed with it holds on the glass by magnet on each side and you can put them as high or low as you want then don't need to hang off the rim or rely on stupid suction cups and both of these are real quiet

Well I know the german is definatly not the daddy I took him out shortly after beacuse he has no tail or fins left and now the other sunshine female is holding I went out a bought another tank to move the momma's and before I could get the net in the water babys were swimming out the egyptians females gills, so I scooped up the babies(2) and her a moved them into a new tank, now there is 11 babies on the bottom 5 I think are dead. I also moved the sunshine females to a new tank hopefully that goes better
