  1. Not sure of all the dimensions so this is just a guess. 98" Long, 16" tall and 24" wide. Al

  3. Driving is your best bet if you want to bring fish home. The auction in the past was HUGE! If I remember in 2008 there was about 500 items/bags of fish for sale at the auction. Of course if you come from out of town to the show you can come over to our place for a fish room tour! Over 40 tanks in our home. Couple of pictures of the 2008 show! Al
  4. Our show web site is now up and running. One month to go!!!!!! Last speaker is confirmed Mr. Chuck Rambo!!!!! "www.asw.ca"
  5. You have been getting excellent advice on this thread! Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos is a very beautiful fish, we have been keeping them for almost a year now. As for your filter issue... To compensate for the time being you can step up the frequency of your water changes until you get your next filter. Al
  6. Very Nice! Love the Bolivians, I miss those little ones. Al
  7. 2 part Epoxy made for food processing is what we have used in the past. Are you sure the urethane (animal safe) is ok for underwater purposes? Al

  15. I feed ours Spirulina wafers and the red color really pops. They do get some NLS but not much. Al
  16. I always believe in too much filtration. those three filters would do very well in my opinion. As for the fish getting along? Well I don't really have any experience with them. Good luck and as always keep posting pictures! Al
  17. This is just my experience. I have in the past left my stands unpainted and have had warping problems. I do not think it had anything to do with spilling or leaking water they just warped. Yes they where 2x6's even 4x4's, I should be smarter seeing that I have been painting professionaly for 20ish years. In my opinion the varathane water based or oil based will be fine (two coats though minimum). I have been painting my stands with one coat wood primer and 2 coats Acrylic latex (kitchen and bath paint). No more warpage!!!! I hope this helps and good luck with your new tanks. Happy New Year!!! Al
