Majestic_Aquariums
Looks like a job very well done! I wouldn't be concerned about your bracing as mentioned in your p.m. I bet that stand would hold a 90 gal! Looking forward to seeing the completed project! Rob

nevchewy
Here is a picture of the stand with the 10 gallon tanks going and the 60 gallon ready to setup: I still have to get a piece of glass cut for the top of the 10 gallons. the 10 gallon on the left has the 20 - F2 saulosi fry in there. the 10 gallon on the right has 12 yellow lab fry growing out. so far so good! I'll update some more pics when i have the 60 gallon tank going! nev
Doc_Polit
Nice work Nev!! :w00t: That looks awesome. Must feel great to go from a paper sketch to the real deal......Now just to finish the 60, eh? BTW, if your Saulosi are prolific breeders, I may come calling in the not so distant future. They have always been one of our favorites, but good stock has been difficult to find as of late. Congrats again. Doc_Polit

nevchewy
So Nevin, did you make it down to big al's to see the saulosi?Did you get any? Val: I did! I was so happy to see a tank full of them. They were about 1.5 inches and they were all still yellow. There were a few in the tank that have darkness forming in their fin, but i thought it was very tough to pick out the males from females. There is a pic of the little guy I bought in the link below: http://s6.invisionfree.com/AlbertaAquatica...?showtopic=3688 Nice work Nev! Guys like you put guys like me out of work! Rob: I think we have a long way to go to ever match anything that you have done Rob! I doubt i could have done this with out your help and suggestions. I thank you again! Doc_Polit: That looks awesome. Must feel great to go from a paper sketch to the real deal......Now just to finish the 60, eh? :smokey: BTW, if your Saulosi are prolific breeders, I may come calling in the not so distant future. They have always been one of our favorites, but good stock has been difficult to find as of late. For sure! I'd wait until have Kyle's Male breeding though! They way he describes this fish... I should be entering him in show's! Thanks for all your help and kind words, but i'm not done yet... More pics to come soon! nev
