Catmandu
Hmm.. how would young kids fare at the auction? Just make sure that they are bagged and labeled properly [latin names are an asset]

jvision
There's not much for kids to do. Maybe bring some coloring or a portable gaming device to help them pass the time.

Mike1962
Hello all, New to this very helpful group and was wondering if you are able to purchase single fish at the auction? Thanks for your help....Mike
Vallisneria
It depends. You'll usually see bags of 5-6 fry/juvies, pairs/trios or single fish. Usually the single fish are adult africans, larger fish or plecos.
jvision
Some people do bring extra bags, and do some wheeling and dealing on the side. I've split up purchases of plants, live food and fish, personally. This may be the first auction in about 7 yrs that I won't be at.

Then maybe you want to sell me some plants on the side that you would be selling if you attended the auction? :-D Since I can't attend it either haha
SuperGuppyGirl
Is hoping some other freshwater lovers are going to be there, would love to find some fancier guppies and Endlers or some lil cory cuties
fishclubgirl
I'll start it, who's bringing what?? As I have to get everything ready early, I won't be bringing too many fish but more plants. Fish are a dragon betta or two, gambusia, yucatan mollies and probably some other livebearers and plants depend on what's growing out of my tanks at the moment...
