flyfisher
Also, have had good luck with hornwort with just t8's as well. Under the right conditions hornwort can grow like a weed and take over a small tank in a couple of weeks.Great plant when all goes well. jjabraham
Water Lettuce is another one that can take over the top as well. I'm removing new growth at least once a week to keep it from blocking out light in my tank. But I do like the plant (as does my Betta and cherry shrimp). creekbottom
I have salvinia on top my tank. It takes a little longer to propogate, and doesn't have a long root system, maybe only half inch. That's been my experience so far.
Znaika
Usually low light is not as much of an issue for floating plants. After all, they are closest to and direclly eposed to however little light you have.
Frogfish
Egeria densa and cardamine lyrata seem to do well as low light floaters even though they are stem plants. Hopefully this info helps you a year later haha at least its there for the next person wanting to know.
