Vapor
Today I awoke and discovered I am suffering from M.T.S. Otherwise known as Multi Tank Syndrome. Yesterday I had a 27 Gallon lively little community tank and all was good. Today sitting beside it is an empty 90 gallon. I didn't even feel the symptoms start to occur. Now I need to figure out what to put in it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Just nothing agressive (that was what I had to promise the little woman to get this). dunl
You need to quickly treat this with a heavy antibiotic dose of 75 gallon, plus two smaller doses of 55gallons each, and several small doses in varying amounts of 20, 15, or 10 gallons. (make sure you use some 20high and some 20 long just to get the full effect). I'm afraid if that doesn't work, you might need to pull out the big guns and go after it with a 180 gallon. Snowape
I've noticed the same thing here, tanks seem to multiply faster than convicts :chair: There is no known cure
kellehar
you could always turn to the darkside like the rest of us and go s/w
Hemi
start with a juvi giant goramy then when he gets big it justifies a new bigger tank and you can put aggressive fish in the 90  BTW if you only have 2 tanks you have some catching up to do LOL I have 17 LOL
AndyL
Yeah, I agree with kellehar, best way to solve MTS is to go reef - too expensive to have TOO many SW tanks
k9outfit
Thanks goodness! I thought I was the only one that the little men in white with butterfly nets were going to come after! I'm up to 12 tanks, (we've already moved out some livingroom furniture to make room for fish tanks!) and I just commited (should be commited? ) to another 5 from someone who just redesigned their fishroom and has a bunch of tanks he doesn't need! jvision
I may be committing the cardinal fish-keeping sin... I have more tanks empty than I have full!!!
neely
you could always turn to the darkside like the rest of us and go s/w that - that should bust your bank and slow the spending in a hurry!... so im finding
kellehar
It is expensive and even more addictive. Im going over seas on the 18 of feb. I will be recieving $20,000 extra in danger pay and I want to have at least $5000 of it to spend on a new s/w tank. S.A. RAYzor
Seems this bug gets around FAST. Right now, I've only got a 10, but I'm getting (hopefully) a 33 long and a 55! -roll-
HOSStile
My problem is to "hide" them from the Mrs. That is getting harder to do... -roll- I hide them from the wife by setting them up at work, I just set up tank #4 there along with 10 running at home.
