    Hello

I'll put the info on the calender right away.
  2. It's probably safer to just move them. Go buy some "rubbermaid" tubs and set up shop somewhere else, untill it is OK to come back.

    FX5 PUMP

I agree 100%. Hagen finaly made a canister worth spending money for. Also i had a problem with some of my Elbows and "Hagen" sent me new elbows for nothing. Kudos to them.
  4. There has been much discusion lately about the quality of AquaGiants tank. Here is a quote from a post over at CanReef. http://canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.ph...6558#post246558 If your thinking about buying or already have purchased a AG tank. Then this is a must read!
  5. I know you can get them at AquaGiant.

    FX5 PUMP

That's perdy impressive. I love my FX-5's.

    Powerhead

I would vote for the Seio if you want good quality at a great price. And a Tunze if you want extreme water fow and minimal power usage.--->*Expensive to buy though*
  8. I heard of a story about a con beating the snot out of a large oscar. So don't rule them out yet. I'll try and find it somewhere, and get back to you.
  9. I'am not saying there isn't a potential for problems, but if all fish are of "normal" aggresiveness and the Cons don't fit into the Oscars mouths. It should be fine.
  10. Were you going to cover the stand or not? If not i have a simple and much stronger design. My design can be made to look nice, but it would require a router.
  11. Thanks everyone. Morhua: Sorry for the late reply. I don't have the jag anymore, but i bet you would love one! In my opinion they aren't nearly as aggresive as people make them out to be. Unless they are breeding, Then it's all out mayhem.
  12. I would imagine it is the wood probably a 1"x4", that goes around the top and more important...the bottom of the stand.
  13. And the winner is........Morhua. Thanks for being awesome. You have won a $20 gift Cert for Riverfront Aquariums.
  14. I'am to dam lazy to upload them again so just check out my gallery shots. Click HERE suckaz.
  15. But you may inform that person in a P.M. If you desire.
  16. I have heard that also, but i have also witnessed many tanks that only had Lava rock for filtration and they lasted many, many years. I may add that these filters were rarely if ever cleaned.
  17. Keep inmind a FX-5 can be found at LFS around our area for about $250 -$280. So a FX-5 is probably cheaper and is less noisy than a sump. I used to have a sump on my 150g but took it out to run a FX-5 and i'll never go back. Unless i do a huge tank where i would need Numerous FX-5's. Then a sump would be the only choice realy.
  18. Dean how could you make that mistake?!? Anyway i fixed that post for you. :smokey:
  19. Make sure to clean the filter pads very well, and also the impeller and housing. As these are the bigest contributors to a filter slowing down.
  20. WOW! Tim and myself thought that fish was a male. You should have seen the nuchal hump on that fish! Well you might have to sent Skinless a P.M. He has a Extra large colored male midas that would love to take her out for dinner and a movie.
  21. Congrats Nick. Everything just seems to flourish in your house. Well almost everything.
  22. dayrude1981: Did you happen to read the link that RD posted? I would read it very carefully.
  23. I vacuum with every water change. Though all of my fish are messy eaters and crap like a rottweilers.
  24. Hintonites? Aren't they those people in that movie "Deliverance"?
