  1. I need to get me some fish like that!!!
  2. It can be. Anenomes are like fish in that there are species that are easier or harder to keep than others. As far as killing other fish in the tank, most of the fish will be ok. After a shock or two they will learn to avoid it. Shouldn't die from it though.
  3. a good fish to start with is a Blue Chromis. It is a member of the damsel family, but is a bit hardier and a little bit more accepting of similar fish in the tank. As far as the clown, are you going to have an anenmone in the tank as well? The symbiotic relationship between the two is a sight to see.
  4. Good link. I've read a few articles that have said that even though they are hybrids, some of the red blood parrots can successfully spawn.
  5. Good choice with the nugget though. I love that fish. It's gorgeous!
  6. ok. Thanks. I'll check it out.
  7. What is BAP? What is it for? Who can do it or get it done? Congrats on the babies Jason, btw.
  8. Congrats!!! My kribs just spawned again. Have some 2 month old fry if anyone wants some..?
  9. Like to see it take on something a bit bigger. Tiger, Mako, or maybe a white.
  10. Even if the peacock bass got to full size, a full sized red tail cat would make a meal of them. He'd be twice the size of the peacocks.
  11. Just to let everyone know.... Things seem to be doing better. I got some floaters from jvision (thank you very much btw) and picked up some seachem prime. Now, 2 water changes later things are a lot clearer. I am going to test the levels tonight to see exactly where I am at, but I am optomistic. Thanks to everyone for the input. P.S. Jack and Jill (my kribs) laid some more eggs over the weekend. If anyone wants some fry, PM me. I'll hook you up.
  12. Natures corner got some in last week. I know. I was there checking them out a couple times this week already.
  13. Cool. Thanks Stacey. I'll try some of it.
  14. I do weekly water changes. The tank has an eclipse hood on it with a filter and biowheel built in.
  15. Sweet. I'd love to see some pics if they are available.
  16. Absolutely gorgeous. ................... Sorry. Had to clean up my drool..
  17. I would say 4 or 5, but it would depend on having enough hiding spots for the rams to establish a territory for themselves.
  18. I would put in some A. cucatoide. Dorsal fins look awesome when fully grown. Bright orange and very spikey!! I was at Natures on tuesday and they still had some.
  19. Its good to see that not all fish that need help are sent to LFS or euthanized. Kudos to you!!!
  20. Have fun. Make sure to update us with pics as he grows!!!
  21. Do they still have the big Red tail cat in the display tank?? I used to live near there about 5 years ago and one time it ate their silver aro that was in the display tank with it.
