    hello

    Welcome to the forum!
  2. I am sorry if it is wrong to post this because she was not a fish. Clover was a bunny. She died last night of an acute upper respiratory infection. I am so sorry Clover, if I had known you were sick we would have gotten you to the vet sooner. Clover was sweet and gentle and kind. She took care of the other five rabbits like they were her own baby bunnies. She was the one rabbit that would hang out with us on the couch for a whole rugby game. Clover liked to watch the fish swimming by in the aquarium. I am sure if she could she would have been a mommy to them too. Clover was white with a grey nose, grey ears, grey paws and a grey tail. Clover was 12 pounds of bunny love and I will miss her greatly.
  3. The Auction will be at the Sands Hotel 12340 Fort Road Edmonton, Alberta.
  4. Welcome to Alberta Aquatica! This is the best place to start. A lot of people sell fish, plants and equipment for very good prices in the buy/sell forum. it is a great way to get into this hobby without breaking the bank. WARNING! The people here will suck you deeply into this hobby with their niceness and willingness to share information. Multiple Tank Syndrome is a contagious disease and has no known cure. It is spread through contact with pretty fish and giant beautiful aquariums. It is however the funnest disease I have ever caught! I hope you enjoy your time here! :welcome:

Welcome to the forum! Bettas roped me in to this too! They are so pretty!
  13. I think Sam Chicklet's suggestion is best. If you put him back in the water eventually he will come out of the log. Poking him wil only make him hold on harder and you can hurt him trying to get him out of there. (I know I've done it  ) Make sure to place the wood in such a way that it is easy for him to get out. I left mine on a piece of wood in a bucket (with water) for a couple of hours before he let go. Just please don't hurt him with sticks or burn him with salt!
  14. Welcome to the forum Austin!

  18. That's one beautiful monster you have there.
  19. My male crayfish Bert came to me a bit "differently abled". He is missing his left claw and a portion of his body on the left side. I got another crayfish at the same time. (Her name is Molly) Molly has shed twice since I got them and Bert has not shed at all. He also has some white feathery stuff hanging out of the hole on his left side. If he continues to not shed will he die or will he just stay really small? He is eating but he is not as eager to get his food as Molly is.
  20. You have a nice tank. Thanks for putting up pictures! I enjoyed them!
