  1. Very nice arro, the group of clowns underneath stole my attention away. Beautiful fish.
  2. Wow, somehow I don't feel so bad when I see how fat some of my tetras and other fish get after I feed them. -roll-
  3. Awesome looking tank. How big are those silver dollars?
  4. I've heard of alot of people just going to rivers, creeks, or any body of water and just searching around for them. Plus that way the price is free
  5. -roll- So true. I do that all the time and i get the weirdest looks. It became odd at my house when I got my 2nd 29 gallon. No one else in my family or any of my friends understand why I enjoy fish so much. Now I have a 180, 80, 55 and everyone wants to send me to an asylum.
  6. Couldn't have said it better.
  7. Funny. When I set-up my 180 back in November I was really temped to climb in and lay in the bottom and take a picture, but fear of cracking the bottom glass stopped me.

    My 120g long

    Very cool group of loaches
  9. That is crazy! Glad that atleast one of the fish made it and I bet he'll think twice about doing that again.
  10. 20 gallon tank would be too small as pictus cats also need to group together and grow much larger than your cories. Your cories will also do best if you get 3+ more for them. a nice group would be 5-6 in your tank. Apple snails would be a good fit your your community of cories and danios. Just remember that they need lots of calcium in their diet to be healthy. Just make sure to do some research on them before getting them.
  11. The parrot fish would do fine with the other mentioned fish. They can be territorial and can get large so I would keep them away from tetras and smaller fish, but I have seen them with larger mollies and rainbow fish.
  12. I'm not the most knowledgable person on angels. Have a search around on the forums in the s/a and c/a section or on other sites. Plenty of people keeping angels out there with more knowledge than you will know what to do with.
  13. Since there is no fish in the tank you can dose bleach right in and let it circulate through the tank for a couple days. Just make sure to do a couple large water changes a week or so before you go and buy fish. Angels would be good for a tank like that. Then you could get cories for the bottom and maybe a group of black skirt or serpae tetras. Even neons or cardinal tetras for a little color variation. You could go the cichlid way too. Great colors and personalities with these fish. It moe depends on what you like, take a trip to the local store and look around until you find something that amazes you.(unforunately for me this part is almost the whole store ) Then come back and research as much as you can and then go for it.
  14. Large rubbermaid containers are really flimsy when they are topped up with water as well as very heavy. When I moved i used a whole bunch of culligan 5 gallon water jugs for my water. I taped the lids on just in case, but it worked great. Then I had just as many 5 gallon luandry soap/paint containers with the lids that seal for my fish, plants, and the rest of my water. This was only for freshwater but I wouldn't see too much difference. This way they are still carryable too.
  15. I like the last one alot. I don't know anything really about photography but I think in the first shot if you were to crop it so there wasn't so much dead space it would like just as good as the last one.
  16. Good looking set-up. Always wanted to keep pea puffers, they look so cool. Looks like those otos have alot of stuff to munch on.
  17. Now you need the matching alien
