I guess with such strict importation laws (just about nothing gets in legally), I could see how some hobbyists would try smuggling fish in to make a buck. Many fish that we pay $5-$50 each for here can go for as much as $1500-$5000 each in Aus....potentially, she was smuggling enough to buy a 5000 sq ft home with....maybe more.
