$49.99 For Bristlenose Catfish?

I was just at a LFS and saw a 2.5 inch albino Bristlenose catfish, and the price tag read $49.99!

WHAT???

I asked the sales clerk why it was so expensive, and her reasoning was that it was "albino, and a bristlenose as well".

Dear Lord!! A friend bought one from an LFS, and paid $9.99!

Wow, out to lunch pricing or what?

I'm rich, rich,rich.... I have about 20 of them, plus a spawn of silvertip longfins(they must be worth at least 100 dollars). Going to give my notice at work tomorrow(not).

Wow that's criminal...I just sold a whole lot of them for 5 dollars each and they were veiltail too.

what store is that please..so i know to avoid it when i'm or if i am in edmonton...lol

I know where the local Hal's big brother gets them from, my neibour, I just picked some up off her for 5 bucks a piece, noway would I pay $50 bucks for BN pleco they are almost as common as air.

We know who has the 'best price' on a BN. I think that's god enough.
